Join us on the Steam Community
The Steam Community has finally gone into beta. If you haven’t gotten in on it yet, fire up Steam and click Settings. On the first tab (the Account tab) select The Steam Community from the beta participation box and restart Steam.
Once you’ve set up your profile join the official podcast group:
http://www.steamcommunity.com/groups/podcast
Steam won’t let you make group names or URLs with the word “Steam” in them (lame!) so on the Steam Community we’re just known as “The Podcast”.
I’ll be out of town for a few days, so don’t freak out if I don’t reply to anything immediately. See you in the community!

Ha, well, it looks like its August now, wasnt this update DEFINETLY supposed to come in July? I guess a little bit of Valve time does apply eh? Hey anyone else having issues getting it to allow you to upload an avatar? It wont give me a button or anything to put one up.

Meh, that was directed at how it was definitely supposed to be out last week, and they said they were gonna get it out this week. And they did.
You can upload your avatar when you’re editing your SteamID.

I found out about this the second it came out as I had a felling it was coming and kept checking for updates. At one point when I uploaded an avatar it basically blanked it and didn’t show an image, and yes it was correct format but that’s sorted now. If anyone wants to add me:

I had trouble with my avatar, I uploaded one then when I wanted to switch it wouldn’t let me upload a new one until about the 10th try.
