The Steam Podcast crew took a well deserved week off for some good old rest and relaxation…

If only that was true. In fact, we were quite busy this week. Too busy to be able to give you all a quality podcast. However, we’ll be back in full force with episode 4 next week.

Everytime I log in and check our download statistics, I’m constantly amazed at how fast this podcast is growing. In fact, every day since episode 3 was released, we’ve broken the previous day’s record in both subscriber numbers and podcast downloads. Here are just a few stats to give you guys an idea.

• We’ve averaging easily over 100 subscribers every day.
• We’ve served over 800 logged downloads of episode 1.
• Yesterday alone we served over 200 downloads of episode 3.

And don’t forget the most important fact. We haven’t even been around for one month. That’s right, our first episode was released on September 2nd.

So, in a nutshell, thanks guys. We really appreciate your support, and knowing that we have a base of people waiting eagerly for the next episode makes it a lot easier to get through all the drudgery of actually making it happen. Keep the feedback coming, keep commenting, and spread the word! Sure 100+ subscribers is nice, but wouldn’t 500+ be better?

Just a quick note to let you all know that episode 2 has been recorded. Once it’s edited and uploaded, it should be ready for download within the next day or two.
