Also FYI, there won’t be an episode this week because I’m not at school, where my desktop (and more importantly, all the audio source files like the intros/outros, etc.) is. We’d rather give you an episode that has relevant stories than one that’s stale because I couldn’t edit it for a week.

P.S. Wii sucks. only 3 good games on it and COD4 is the best game in the world, with HL2 underneath it.

It’s damn near impossible to get guitar hero 3 for the Wii. I called about 8 stores during the weekend. Most were sold out, some didn’t even got their first shipment. I tried again today, and same thing.

Wal-mart was the worst with phone calls. I waited on the phone for 10-15 minutes, only to get a hang-up. I called again, and waited another 5 minutes.

Everyone I called couldn’t give me an answer when I asked when is the next shipment. I got better answers when I actually went to the mall.

I already tried the portal gun exploit by extracting ep2 maps to the portal folders. I found I had to extract the ep2 scripts, materials, models etc aswell as maps to recreate ep2 in portal. Its fun tho, i suggest ppl try it out ^_^

I got the Core 2 Duo E6750. I haven’t pushed it to it’s limits yet to see how it performs but it’s pretty zippy so far.

On another note, we have the next episode recorded. It might take me a few hours to get it up though, as I have to do a little surgery to make the 4 second lag (thanks Charter Communications…) a little more bearable.

The overlapping issues are fixed though. It will be perfectly listenable once I clean it up a bit.

Water finds it own level every time. Conceptually this article (Episode 13: Eternal Silence) is sound and I agree whole heartedly. I personally think it relates to CAD as well, IMHO.

Finished building my rig, and just ran a TF2 test. With everything turned on high (or very high) at my LCD’s native resolution (1280×1024) I get around 100 FPS. Awesome.
