Sponsorship Info
The Steam Podcast is now actively seeking sponsorships to offset the costs of producing the podcast. We can offer you in return the ability to reach a large, very targeted audience of gamers. To preserve the integrity of our podcast, we’re only accepting sponsorships from organizations that we feel would be relevant and meaningful to our listeners. How can your organization get involved?
We’ve made it extremely affordable to sponsor the podcast. Here’s our basic structure:
- “Brought to you by” mention at the beginning - $5/episode
- Ad spot (30 secs) in the middle of the podcast - $10/episode
- Ad spot (60 secs) in the middle of the podcast - $20/episode
A few notes about each type of sponsorship:
“Brought To You By” Mention
This is simply spoken by us at the beginning of the podcast, after the opening music. The copy will go something like this “The Steam Podcast is made possible by [your organization]. You can find out more information about [your organization] at [your website]. [your tagline]”
All you have to do is provide us with the information to fill in the blanks.
30 Second Ad Spot
You must provide us with a 30 second audio clip you would like us to use. Keep it clean please.
You also have the option to pre-pay for as many episodes as you would like. If you pre-pay for at least four episodes, we’ll gladly help you produce a 30 second ad spot.
60 Second Ad Spot
You must provide us with a 60 second audio clip you would like us to use. Keep it clean please.
You also have the option to pre-pay for as many episodes as you would like. If you pre-pay for at least four episodes, we’ll gladly help you produce a 60 second ad spot.
A Note About Payment
We prefer Paypal transactions, and all sponsorships must be paid before the episode on which they will air is recorded. You may choose to pre-pay for several episodes, but keep in mind that we do not guarantee the frequency with which our podcasts are released. We do our best to do a weekly podcast, but due to circumstances outside of our control, we sometimes need to take weeks off. Thus, if you have a new mod that’s launching in five weeks, we don’t recommend that you pre-pay five episodes.
